Sound Familiar?

  • You feel disconnected from your body—like you’re living in your mind, always analyzing, always thinking.

  • You’ve tried talk therapy, but sometimes words don’t capture what you feel.

  • You hold tension, emotions, or memories in your body and don’t know how to release them.

  • You crave a deeper way of knowing yourself—one that feels both scientific and spiritual.

"So… Movement Actually Changes My Brain?"

Yes. Science shows that movement is more than just exercise—it’s a pathway to emotional regulation, nervous system healing, and deeper self-awareness.

🔬 The Science: Studies in somatic psychology and neuroscience show that movement-based practices help release stored trauma, regulate emotions, and rewire the brain for resilience. By moving intentionally, we activate parts of the brain involved in memory, emotional processing, and stress relief—offering a different way to heal.

🌿 The Spiritual Side: Ancient wisdom traditions have long known that the body holds truth, memory, and intuition. Authentic Movement aligns with mindfulness, embodied meditation, and energy work, helping you tune into yourself on a deeper level.

What is Authentic Movement?

It’s simple: Close your eyes. Let movement emerge. Be witnessed. No choreography, no performance—just you, moving from within.

FAQs

  • In Authentic Movement, generally there is a mover and a witness. With eyes closed, the mover follows intuition in movement, bridging conscious and unconscious. They connect with the witness, who mindfully notices what arises internally while watching the mover. Afterward, there will be processing through journaling, art, conversation, and ceremony.

  • Generally, my authentic movement groups exist within a series of limited sessions. Everyone must attend the first session, and we hope you participate in the last one as well. Some groups last one night and some several months.

  • $360 for one month.

$120 as a drop-in to the first session.
